"Go and make disciples…and teach them to observe all that I have commanded you." (Matt 28:19-20)

My name is Shannon Watson. I hope to offer encouragement, resources and share my experiences and what I have learned about being and becoming a disciple of Christ.

My passion is ministry to men, and discipleship. I believe that it is time for men to fulfill their Biblical roles in the home, in the church and in the community, and be all that God has called us all to be. If we are to reach the children of this generation and the next; we must start with their fathers. The Bible says that in the end times, God will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers. I believe the men of God need to stand up, stand together, take responsibility, assume their proper Biblical roles and realize that we are here for “such a time as this,” and that we need to about the Father’s business while there is yet time to work!

“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say “NO” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.” (Titus 2:11-12)

God is calling us to live in a manner that reflects Him. In the day we live, I believe it is more important than ever that for the glory of God and that we may be used by Him to further the Kingdom and to lift up Christ so that all men will be drawn to Him; that it is absolutely imperative and necessary that we all strive to be like Christ in our lives, our thoughts, our words and our deeds. We cannot truly follow Christ if we do not desire to be like Him.

1 Timothy 4:12b tell us: “Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.”
